A cushion pattern inspired by traditional embroidery from around Scandinavia. When researching the textile arts of the Nordic countries, you can’t escape the themes of deer and stars (sometimes called åttebladrosa, or 8 leaf rose). For this design both stars and deer were used.
Model stitched on 32 count linen. Requires approximately 9-12 skeins of DMC floss.
