Language of Flowers: Dream – The Blue Flower

This is the newest entry in the “Language of Flowers” series.  This was inspired by some purple/blue poppy flowers.  The poppy has traditionally been used to represent sleep, dreams and imagination.

The model is stitched on 40 count “Flagstone” linen from Lakeside Linens.  Stitch count is 209 wide x 66 high.  The model is trimmed with “Robin Egg” chenille and backed with “Blue Corn” velveteen, both from Lady Dot Creates.
