Gourdness Gracious – With Thy Needle and Thread, Brenda Gervais

“Gourdness Gracious!” is a cross stitch chart designed by Brenda Gervais of With Thy Needle & Thread. Brenda notes that her mother often said the phrase, “Well, goodness gracious,” so she loves the play on those words for this design. She says “I imagined this little witch one day, much to her surprise, would find something growing in her urn, a seed planted not by her but a visiting crow. It grew into a giant green vine with yellow blooms that produced smiling jacks, and her reaction was, of course, Goodness Gracious!”
