This year’s Fragments in Time series was inspired by antique Susquehanna Valley Samplers. As I studied the originals with their compartmentalized borders, I knew they would make a perfect Fragments series. This body of antique samplers was created from the late 1700’s through the 1840’s, being produced from several schools located along the Susquehanna River in Pennsylvania. I hope you enjoy my updated version of this piece of sampler history.
As always there is a complimentary border pattern!! All eight Fragments will fit into the border pattern, to give these versatile charts another finishing option. Perfect idea for a shop stitch-along! The .pdf pattern is available on my website, www.summerhousestitcheworkes.com or by emailing me.
