The sea-faring Fragments, inspired by antique sailor art, valentines and scrimshaw, continue with The Mermaid & Remember Me.
No. 6 – Old time sailors left their loved ones with special tokens to remember them while they sailed the high seas. These shell encrusted valentines come to us as testaments of their love for their special someone. This Fragment is a tribute to those sentiments.

Stitched with border pattern: 245 (w) x 125 (h)
Fabric: 32 ct. Colonial Parchment linen from Fabrics by Stephanie. A fat quarter is needed for doing all eight Fragments individually or with the border.
