Animal Alphabet
I’ve wanted to do an animal alphabet for quite some time, and I finally worked it in to the schedule. Each letter includes an animal – some familiar and some more unusual. (There is a full list of the animals on the back of the chart.)
The model is stitched on 40 count “Sampler Green” linen from xJudesign. (The closest DMC comparison for the linen is 471.) If your customers are curious, I also considered using a grey-purple fabric such as “Elephant Run” by Fox & Rabbit. One of the threads (DMC 3861) was a bit close to that linen color, but could easily be adjusted to stand out a bit more. Stitch count is 182 wide x 218 high and the chart calls for all DMC threads.
