You’ve been asking for this one, and so we’ve decided to answer your fondest wish! Jackie will be presenting the Oh so delicious “Berrylicious” Basket to you this Fall at Sassy Jacks. I’m so excited for this one!!
Beautifully painted berries on a cherry-wood basket with swing handle; decorated with a stitched linen panel. The stitched linen panel will be used to create the exterior of the basket body and will feature a pincushion adorned with stitched berries mounted to the interior bottom of the basket. The stitching features all things berries and uses only the finest hand-dyed silk fiber; Au ver a Soie, of course!
“Strawberry, blueberries, blackberries and cherries, some tart, and many super sweet. Filling my basket and contented heart.” Jackie described this beautiful project perfectly with those two sentences!
We have an added option for you on this workshop: You can choose to have your gorgeous cherry basked hand painted with all of the berries, or unpainted to feature the beautiful cherry on its own.
This is a one-day workshop and the cost of the day varies based on your choice of painted or unpainted basket. Your lunch is included along with some fun swag.
Workshop Fee with Painted Basket: $650
Workshop Fee with UN-Painted Basket: $525
And here’s a fun fact… when you complete your project, we’ll reward you with a gorgeous mother of pearl thread winder for finishing your Jackie piece! I purchased a large number of these beauties from Jackie a while back that I’m only gifting to my Jackie students, and only when I see a finished piece that was taken or audited with us Sassy Jacks! It will snuggle so very nicely into your Bonbonnière. And it is only available from me… as it was bespoke created and made for you.

The workshop fee for Berrylicious with a Painted Cherrywood Basket is $650. Workshop fee for Berrylicious with an UN-Painted Cherrywood Basket is $525. A non-refundable deposit of $300 is due upon confirmation of registration.
You may audit Berrylicious, as this class is an encore presentation. Audit Fee is $75 and includes lunch and swag. There is no “ghost” option available. Attendance is required.

Standard Queen or Double rooms will be available for $119 (plus applicable fees and taxes) per night. This is a fabulous rate for our area and this hotel.
Asheville will be in her finest beauty as we shift our focus toward the grand celebrations of the holidays. It’s a perfect time to come for a visit.
